Pinot Noir is a delicate grape that expresses the terroir of the land where it's grown.
The grapes grown at Table Rock Vineyard originate from two carefully selected Swiss varieties - Wadenswil and Mariafeld. The robust, tannic Wadenswil grape lends structure, while the delicate, spicy Mariafeld contributes floral aromas. Together, these two grapes produce a complex, fruity wine with earthy notes. The high-quality soil of the vineyard further enhances the grapes' refined flavors and aromas.
140 years of preserving rich, fertile land.
With its ability to provide essential nutrients and support plant growth, soil fertility is undeniably one of the most crucial components for vineyard success.
It is clear why our ancestors chose this region for their homestead in 1883. With its fertile soil and ideal climate, this little valley along the Rogue River was the perfect spot to settle and begin farming. The rich earth ensures bountiful harvests for the crops they tended.
Our vineyard boasts the essential elements required for cultivating exceptional Pinot Noir grapes. The combination of cool temperatures, ample sunshine, and well-drained soils creates the perfect balance for these finicky grapes to thrive.
It is not just the physical assets that set us apart. Our team of experienced viticulturists and winemakers possess a deep understanding and passion for Pinot Noir. Their expertise ensures that every grape is carefully nurtured and harvested at its peak ripeness.
